Wildlife Lovers Tour – Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

When you step inside the big old wooden gate at Bonorong, you are stepping inside the home of our animals – a home that is the perfect climate and environment for their needs. Bonorong have one of the largest mobs of friendly, free-ranging kangaroos and wallabies. You can meet them all by hand-feeding them with the complimentary bag of animal feed we give you on your arrival.

Visitors to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary rave about the in-depth guided tours. You will meet the wombats, Tasmanian Devils and Koalas, learn their names, watch the famous Tassie Devils being fed, have the opportunity to pat a koala and wombat, take some close-up photos, and find out how they came to live in the Park. You will learn things on the tour about Australian wildlife that will leave you amazed.

At Bonorong you will see a number of species that are sadly now extinct everywhere but Tasmania.  They include the Tasmanian Devil, the Eastern Quoll, the Tasmanian Pademelon and the shy Tasmanian Bettong.  These four marsupial species have made their last stand in Tasmania and other marsupials sadly are at risk of joining that list.

As well as these animals you will see everything from golden possums, potoroos and emus to the brilliant spotted-tailed quolls, wombats and echidnas.

The animals of Bonorong are loved and cherished by all of the staff at the sanctuary and we are sure you will love them too.

YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO SEE TASMANIAN DEVILS!

This is a great tour for all wildlife lovers, we give you maximum time to explore the famous Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
